Course Structure
This course is taught using an asynchronous “self-directed, study on your own time” portion followed by a synchronous weekly or biweekly discussion with Tutors. The synchronous part of the course is in person via Zoom with participants and volunteer occupational health professionals to discuss the study material.
The Course Teaching Tools used:
Google Classroom for class material, homework, short quizzes, notifications, exams, certificates, etc.,
Zoom for Tutorial discussion sessions with breakout sessions, and Q&A sessions to ensure learning,
A WhatsApp group for exchange of ideas and networking,
A LinkedIn group for continued professional networking and notification of Mentoring sessions, and
Mentoring (one-to-one or group) via Zoom on specific topics.
