WHWB-UK is involved with a project among informal workers in Kenya. This project will initially focus on noise from metal workers as illustrated in this video cliphttps://youtu.be/PGPUVJv6aQM.    A grant application has been approved to fund provision of hearing protection starting with a small pilot group of informal workers in Mombasa. Subject to COVID restrictions, some preliminary noise monitoring and audiometric testing is included, followed by training in the use of  correctly selected hearing protection. This project is being conducted through OSH Pro and Workplace Safety Professionals Association of Kenya (WSPAK), both located  in Kenya.
