Imagine a world where workers do not get sick because of their work

Entomofauna are present in all ecosystems and may play an important role in causing and transmitting disease. Both the cycle of infectious agents and the development of vectors are influenced by temperature, humidity, and other environmental variables. The open dump in an area adjacent to the National Park of Brasilia caused environmental changes that favour the creation and proliferation of disease vectors. The objective of this project is to investigate the entomofauna of the Structural city, whose location borders the national park, open dump, a river, and small vegetable farms, and assess the impact on health conditions of the population and waste workers.
