As part of our series, Taking Stock; Moving Forward – Reflections on Occupational Health in the time of COVID, Dr. Takala will document how COVID-19 has revealed gaps in workers’ protection and how it has compounded the risks which already fall disproportionately on the most vulnerable workers.
Dr. Takala has a unique, global perspective on workers’ health as a result of his many years leading occupational health policy and programs at the international level (for the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the European Union (EU-OSHA)), as well as at the national level.
