Research reports from graduate students at UC Berkeley's School of Public Health
Thanks very much to Garrett Brown and students in his course at the University of California Berkeley for their reports on global occupational health. Garrett writes: “I am pleased to send you the latest research papers on key occupational health and safety issues in global supply chains that are the work of graduate students at the School of Public Health at the University of California at Berkeley. The reports are the result of semester-long assignment in the class, and they contain links and references for useful resources on the topics as well as recommendations for addressing the health and safety hazards to workers in various industries around the world. “
Students chose topics based on suggestions by occupational health organizations. Three topics were proposed by current or former WHWB Board members Mary O’Reilly, Susan Gunn, Om Malik, Lydia Renton and Marianne Levitsky, who also supervised the students writing the reports.
